Jagriti Yatra leaves for Chandigarh

Mohali: Devotees extend warm welcome to the Jagriti Yatra being held to mark the 350th birth anniversary celebrations of Guru Gobind Singh reached Gurdwara Amb Sahib here on Friday night. The yatra has on display weapons of Guru Gobind Singh. The yatris left for Chandigarh on Saturday. — OC

3 held for drinking in public

Chandigarh: Three Bapu Dham Colony residents were  arrested on the charge of drinking at public places. Satpal was arrested near Yog Samadhi Mandir in the colony, while consuming liquor at a public place. Surinder Sharma was caught near a park and Hira Lal was also arrested from same location while drinking. — TNS
