A Sector 19 resident complained that motorcycle-borne miscreants fled away after snatching his mobile phone near the Sector 27/19 roundabout.

The police said Ashish Kumar alleged that two youths snatched his mobile phone while he was walking down the road. The victim failed to note down the registration number of the motorcycle. A case has been registered at the Sector 26 police station.

Pedestrian hit by mobike

A pedestrian was injured after a recklessly driven motorcycle sped away after hitting him at the Sector 20/21 light point.

The police said Dasrath, a resident of Sector 21, alleged that he was injured after the driver of motorcycle number PB-22F-4677 hit him. He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Sector 32. A case has been registered at the Sector 19 police station.
