Housing board allows lift, additional door in houses

CHANDIGARH:The Chandigarh Housing Board has accorded permission to allow lifts to all CHB dwelling units subject to following conditions that the design is to be got prepared by the allottees of a block from a qualified architect registered with that Council of Architects.

The Chandigarh Housing Board has accorded permission to allow lifts to all CHB dwelling units subject to following conditions that the design is to be got prepared by the allottees of a block from a qualified architect registered with that Council of Architects.

The same along with a certificate of structural stability from a structural engineer registered with the Chandigarh Administration will be submitted to PAC (Upper) for approval by the allottees at their own level.

The board has accorded approval to construct one additional door in the dwelling units of the Chandigarh Housing Board. 

The Chandigarh Housing Board will also begin e-auctions of vacant residential properties of the Chandigarh Housing Board from August 15, 2016. 

It has been decided that 40 per cent rebate be given in transfer fee to all the applicants who apply for transfers between July1 2016 and December 31, 2016. 

The board has accorded approval to reputed makes/ brands of various items to be incorporated in the bid documents for the work of construction of 200 two-bedroom flats in Sector-51A, Chandigarh. The CHB has also decided to invite applications for the allotment of balance flats under the reserved categories up to July18. 

The allotment will be made as per terms and conditions of the scheme brochure launched by the Chandigarh Housing Board available at the CHB website: chbonline.in. The application forms will be available at HDFC Bank Sector 9, Chandigarh, and at the branch of the State Bank of India at the Chandigarh Housing Board, Sector 9.

The draw of lot will be conducted if the applications received are more than the number of dwelling units in each category. If sufficient applications are not forthcoming from any of the reserved category, all the reserved dwelling units will be allotted to the applicants in the general category.
