The impact of the nationwide strike called by Left-supported trade unions against the Central government proposal to introduce labour reforms was also felt in Mussoorie today. Workers of hotels, schools, financial institutions, and the Telecom Department held a march from Landour Bazaar to Gandhi Chowk raising slogans against the anti-worker policies of the Central government.

Shops and hotels remained closed as all workers were taking part in the protest procession.
