Himachal Day function on April 15 in Chamba

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh will preside over the state-level Himachal Day function on April 15 at Chamba. He will be accompanied by Forest Minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anil Sharma, Ayurveda Minister Karan Singh and CPS Jagjivan Paul.

Vidhan Sabha Speaker BBL Butail will preside over the district-level function at Bilaspur, Irrigation and Public Health Minister Vidya Stokes at Solan, Health and Family Welfare Minister Kaul Singh Thakur at Hamirpur, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister GS Bali in Una, Power Minister Sujan Singh Pathania at Nahan in Sirmaur district and Industries Minister Mukesh Agnihotri at Kullu, an official spokesperson of the state government said here on Tuesday.

Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma will preside over the district-level function at Mandi, Excise and Taxation Minister Prakash Chaudhary at Shimla, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dhani Ram Shandil at Dharamsala in Kangra district, Deputy Speaker of HP Vidhan Sabha Jagat Singh Negi at Reckong Peo in Kinnaur district and Deputy Commissioner, Lahaul & Spiti district at Keylong.

CPS Neeraj Bharti will attend the function at Dharamsala, CPS Rajesh Dharmani at Bilaspur, CPS Vinay Kumar at Nahan, CPS Nand Lal and Rohit Thakur at Shimla, CPS Sohan Lal Thakur and CPS Mansa Ram at Mandi and CPS ID Lakhanpal will attend the function at Hamirpur.

Chamba: Meanwhile, Chamba DC Sudesh Mokhta today convened a meeting of officials of all departments to make all-out efforts for the preparations of this grand function. He directed the police department to ensure law and order during the function and make traffic arrangements. — OC
