St. John’s High School, Sector 26, beat Swami Ram Tirath School at the ongoing Blessed Edmund Rice Cricket Tournament for Boys (U-17).

Batting first, St. John’s team made 120 runs for four wickets in 20 overs. Manav Malhotra slammed 47 runs, including six boundaries, off 17 balls while Gary Dhingra added 34 runs to the team’s total off 15 balls. In reply, the Swami Ram Tirath School was bundled out for 60 runs in 15 overs. Adilpreet Singh claimed a five-wicket haul for four runs while Gary Dhingra claimed three wickets for nine runs. — TNS
