PU uploads UGC-NET Roll numbers

The roll numbers of all candidates of the CBSE-NET Examination for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship scheduled to be held on December 28, 2014, have been uploaded along with the centres on the PU website http://ugc.puchd.ac.in.

 

The candidates should write the name of their centre on the admit card. As many as 17,859 candidates would appear at Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh Centre of UGC. As many as 44 centres have been established in the PU and various local colleges of Chandigarh. Candidates in the visually challenged category, who have still not requested the coordinator for a scribe, may do so by December 23, so as to make available an appropriate scribe for them. No candidate can bring a scribe of his/her choice for the examination, without the approval of the coordinator.

 

PU prof to get Pharma Orator Award

 

Prof Bhupinder Singh Bhoop, Chairman, University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University (PU), has been conferred the prestigious “Professor MR Baichwal Pharma Orator Award” by the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai. Established in 1933, the ICT is considered to be a premier university dedicated to training, education and research in chemical engineering & technology, and pharmaceutical technology. The “Professor MR Baichwal Visiting Fellow Pharma Orator Award” is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards in the pharma sector. — TNS
