Govt employees, volunteers felicitated

Mussoorie, May 19

Rotary Club felicitated as many as 22 government employees and volunteers for their contribution towards society at a function in a local restaurant here today.

Mid-day meal cooks from Kyar Kuli Bhatta, including Banti Rawat, Sarswati Joshi and Babli Rana; volunteers at a polio booth, Rita Sainath and Salma; employees of GVK 108 Tikam Singh, Dara Singh, Ajay Singh, Loodar Singh, Rampal, Gulshan, Ramesh Kumar, Chaman, Raj Kumar and Anil from the Health Department; Pratap Singh and Meena Singh from civil hospital; Suresh Kumar from St Mary’s Government Hospital and Pankaj Rawat from the Telephone Department were among the person who received awards for their exemplary services to society.

Mussoorie Municipal Council president Manmohan Singh Mall and Rotary Club president Sanjay Agarwal gave a cheque of Rs 15,000 to a girl for her ear surgery.
