Chandigarh, March 24

A girl, who had her face covered and was holding a knife, allegedly entered a boys’ PG accommodation in Sector 15 and stole a mobile phone this morning. The girl was seen while leaving the place by the landlord’s daughter.

Youths, who are students of DAV College, were shocked to learn that a mobile phone was stolen from their room, that too by a girl. Sources said Mohit’s mobile phone was stolen while he was sleeping. His roommate had gone to the washroom when the incident took place.

The girl was seen while leaving the place by the landlord’s daughter, who questioned her regarding her visit. “The girl replied that she had come to enquire about the PG accommodation,” a source said.

The girl then sat in a Swift car and left the spot. Later, the victim came to know that his mobile was stolen.

The matter was reported to the Sector 11 police.
