Girl missing after leaving suicide note

NANGAL: A girl pursuing a postgraduate diploma at National Power Training Institute (NPTI) here has been missing for four days.

A girl pursuing a postgraduate diploma at National Power Training Institute (NPTI) here has been missing for four days. The girl, identified as Namita (26), is from Lucknow, Uttar Pardesh.

The police found a suicide note from her hostel room on Saturday evening. In the suicide note, Namita reportedly said she was ending her life because she was depressed.

The institute authorities said that on March 22, Namita (26) left the NPTI in the morning and did not return. Her parents were informed, following which her father Partap Singh and relatives reached Nangal.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Gurdeep Gosal said the police could not get a clue about the girl’s whereabouts. — TNS
