SMD Little Champ School

Panchkula: Christmas was celebrated at SMD Little Champ Smart School with fervour. Students came dressed up as angels and Santas. The festival was celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm.

Brilliance World School

Brilliance World School celebrated Christmas. Dance and Christmas carols marked the occasion. Students from Pre-nursery to Grade III came attired in red and white dresses. Each classroom was decorated by the students. A Christmas tree was decorated at the entrance to the school. A teddy bear welcomed the students to the school.
 

Shemrock Senior Secondary School

Mohali: Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Mohali, celebrated Christmas with a festive spirit. The campus was festooned with colourful streamers, balloons and a brightly decorated Christmas tree. A cake-decoration activity was organised within the classroom. Students gave a colourful presentation related to the birth of Jesus Christ, which was followed by a dance and Christmas carols. A Christmas play depicting the essence of love, joy and peace was enacted by children. Students also participated in various games.

Doon International School

Doon International School organised Christmas celebrations on the campus. The school was decorated with balloons, bells, stars and a large Christmas tree. A colorful cultural fiesta began with “The First Christmas” depicting the birth of Jesus Christ. The audience was enthralled by traditional carols sung by tiny tots.

Anee’s School

Anee’s Senior Secondary School, Mohali and Kharar campuses, were decorated with balloons, bells and Christmas trees. Students visited the church in Sector 19 where the Father enlightened them about the significance of Christmas. The students were enthralled by carols sung by their teachers. Children danced to the tunes of “Jingle Bells.” Christmas trees were decorated in the school.

Ashmah International School

Ashmah International School was decorated with balloons, bells, stars and Christmas trees on the eve of Christmas. Students visited the church. The students also lit candles there. The scene depicting the birth of Jesus was created along with Santa’s workshop. The students were told that at this workshop gifts were prepared by Santa. Children danced to the tunes of “Jingle Bells”. Christmas trees were also decorated at the school.

Oakridge International School

Oakridge International School celebrated Christmas with fervour. The school had magnificently decorated Christmas trees. Game stalls like big mouth, skittles, snowman sleigh, darts and click my pic saw students enjoying themselves. There were competitions in Christmas carol singing and decoration among the students. Santa came full of goodies and festive cheer and made the celebrations memorable for the students.

Holy Wonder School

Holy Wonder Smart School celebrated Christmas on its campus. A play depicting the birth of Lord Jesus was enacted by young artistes. Children dressed as farm animals with hanging bells brought a special aura to the festival. One of the teachers dressed as Santa spread the message of an eco-friendly atmosphere and distributed candies among the students.

AKSIPS-125

AKSIPS-125, Mohali, celebrated Christmas on its campus. The celebrations began with surprise gifts from Santa. There were various games like gol gappa gobbler, newspaper dance, just a minute and balloon dance, organised by faculty members for the mothers of tiny tots. They joyfully sung “Jingle Bells” and danced to different songs with Santa Claus masks on them. Christmas carols and ringing of Santa Claus’s bells wafted through the campus.

NSS camp held

Chandigarh: A NSS camp was organised at KBDAV-7. The day began with a yoga session wherein volunteers learnt some pranayams and yoga asanas. The programme officer highlighted the importance of the community outreach programme during such camps. — TNS
