Fog: Shatabdi delayed by 12 hours

At least two major trains scheduled for December 5 have been cancelled owing to the cancellation of link rake. Train number 12332, Jammu Tawi-Howrah Himgiri Express, and train number 14218, Chandigarh-Prayag Express, both of which were to commence journey on December 5, have been cancelled.

Train number 12232 Chandigarh-Lucknow Sadbhavna Express, too, has been cancelled for December 7 in the wake of cancellation of link rake.

Apart from that, 33 trains and three flights en route to and from Chandigarh were delayed due to dense fog on Sunday morning,officials said. 

Train number 12011, New Delhi-Kalka Shatabdi Express, was delayed by 12 hours while train number 12012, Kalka-New Delhi Shatabdi Express, was delayed by 8 hours 15 minutes. Other major trains delayed include Amritsar-Howrah Express.
