Fire breaks out in bakery shop

UDHAMPUR: Bakery items and other goods worth lakhs of rupees were damaged due to a fire in a bakery shop near Slathia Chowk in Udhampur district today.

Bakery items and other goods worth lakhs of rupees were damaged due to a fire in a bakery shop near Slathia Chowk in Udhampur district today.

As per reports, the bakery shop accidently caught fire due to a short circuit. On getting information, the locals immediately rushed to the spot and informed the fire brigade about the incident. After much effort, the fire came under control. The police also reached the spot and registered a case in this regard. Further investigation is underway in the case.
