Fatehgarh Sahib youth robbed of gold chain

CHANDIGARH:Six unidentified persons thrashed a 26-year-old youth and robbed him of his gold chain on the road separating Sectors 32 and 33 yesterday.

Six unidentified persons thrashed a 26-year-old youth and robbed him of his gold chain on the road separating Sectors 32 and 33 yesterday. 

According to the police, the complainant, Talwinder Singh of Fatehgarh Sahib, stated that he came to the city to meet his friend who was being treated at the GMCH-32. While on his way back, two persons, who were on a Honda Activa scooter, intercepted his car and stopped him. They man handled him. In the meantime, another car arrived from which four youths came out and began thrashing him. The accused snatched his gold chain and fled from the spot. A case has been registered.
