Ludhiana: An extension lecture on “Improving interpersonal relations through transactional analysis” was held at Shree Atam Vallabh Jain College. Prof Meenakshi Malhotra from UBS, Panjab University, was the resource person. She spoke about the basics of communication, interaction and transactional analysis in managing interpersonal conflicts.

Samarpan-2015

The NSS unit of Sri Aurobindo College organised “Samarpan 2015” for sub-staff and their families on Thursday. Bus drivers, security guards, gardeners, housekeeping staff and security guards of the college along with their wives and children attended the function. Various games such as musical chairs, lemon and spoon race, ball in the bucket, dancing, singing and acting were organised. The winners were given various exciting gifts and prizes sponsored by the NSS volunteers and students.

Workshop on employability

Khanna: The Gulzar Group of Institutes, Khanna, organised an intensive workshop on employability and entrepreneurship development. The theme of this workshop was transforming high potential youth into high performing youth leaders. Career opportunities in like product design, product analysis, product manufacturing, product quality check (quality control engineer), 3D modeling, draughtsman, production engineer, tool designer, etc were discussed. —TNS
