MUMBAI: Eminent Punjabi achievers were honoured with prestigious “Punjabi Icon Awards” on the occasion of “Baisakhi Di Raat”.

Eminent Punjabi achievers were honoured with prestigious “Punjabi Icon Awards” on the occasion of “Baisakhi Di Raat”. The event was headed by Charan Singh Sapra, president of the Punjabi Cultural Heritage Board (PCHB).

Among those awarded were Bollywood actors Ayushman Khurana and Surveen Chawla, industrialists and corporate personalities Rupinder Singh Sodhi (MD, Amul), Malvinder Singh (executive chairman, Fortis Group), Dr Jagvinder Singh Virk (businessman, Australia) and Trishneet Arora (author & ethical hacker).

Chief guest General Bikram Singh (Retd), former Army Chief, said, “It is real pleasure seeing the Punjabis united and I wholeheartedly appreciate Sapra’s efforts to hounour eminent Punjabis, and that too outside Punjab here in Maharashtra.”
