Effigy of Home Minister burnt

DEHRADUN: Activists of the Baba Saheb Dr Bheemroa Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan and the Aradhna Gramin Vikas Kendra Samiti yesterday burnt the effigy of state Home Minister Pritam Singh allegedly for ordering baton charge on protesters in their village in Jaunsar.

Activists of the Baba Saheb Dr Bheemroa Ambedkar Yuva Sangathan and the Aradhna Gramin Vikas Kendra Samiti yesterday burnt the effigy of state Home Minister Pritam Singh allegedly for ordering baton charge on protesters in their village in Jaunsar.

The protesters demanded to give revenue village status to hamlets under the Jaunsar Babar area in Dehradun district.

The protesters gathered at Lansdowne Chowk and burnt Pritam’s effigy. hey raised slogans against the government.—TNS
