Dehradun, December 25

Uttarakhand Education Minister Mantri Prasad Naithani today met the agitating BP.Ed and MP.Ed protesters at the parade ground dharna site in Dehradun. Naithani on the occasion promised agitators to shortly fill 856 vacant posts of teacher in the state.

The protesting BP.Ed and MP.Ed teachers alleged that they had been agitating for long but the state government was least concerned about addressing their genuine demands. They alleged that a large number of posts of sports teacher are lying vacant in the state and asserted that these posts must be filled latest by January 15. The protesters also warned to further intensify their agitation if their concerns were not addressed at the earliest.
