Doraha students get digital literacy tips

DORAHA: To update the knowledge of students and to prepare them to meet the challenges of modern era, Government Senior Secondary School, Bhaini Sahib, organised a ‘’Digital Literacy Workshop’’ under the supervision of Principal Varinder Kaur.

To update the knowledge of students and to prepare them to meet the challenges of modern era, Government Senior Secondary School, Bhaini Sahib, organised a ‘’Digital Literacy Workshop’’ under the supervision of Principal Varinder Kaur.

In the workshop, students were taught the use of ATM, Paytm, internet, framing and sending mail, net banking, online transactions, online filling of forms and cyber security.

Organisers and professors from Bhutta College of Engineering and Technology educated students with the help of videos, power point presentations and holding interaction with them.

The workshop continued for three days where teachers taught the basics as well as details to manage digital technology.

The workshop was arranged by Jasvinder Singh Rupal, lecturer in economics. He said digital workshop would help students in creating a hi-tech atmosphere around them and be armed with the latest digital technology to assist them in various forms.
