DHS inspects OPD block at Ambala hospital

Dr Parveen Sethi, Director, Health Services (Dental), yesterday inspected the recently inaugurated OPD block and under-construction In Patient Department (IPD) block of Civil Hospital, Ambala Cantonment.

While inspecting the IPD block, he directed officials to expedite the work so that the block could be made operational soon. Health Minister Anil Vij had visited the hospital earlier and directed the officials to complete the work of the IPD block by March so that the old building could be demolished.

Chief Medical Officer Vinod Gupta said while inspecting the OPD block, the director gave some instructions regarding the dental X-ray and implant rooms, registration and medicine counters for Ayush, sign boards, mirrors and glasses in toilets, he added.
