DEO tells school to reinstate students

Karnal, July 30

District Education Officer (DEO) Asha Munjal today directed the management of Dyal Singh Public School, Sector 7, to admit the 11 students expelled recently till further orders.

She has also asked the school management to produce the compliance report in her office by 10 am on Friday.

DEO Munjal told The Tribune that the parents of expelled students met her yesterday and apprised her that the order of Director, Education, asking the school to admit the students expelled for non-payment of the fee had not been complied with. — TNS
