Dalit minor abducted, raped in Hisar

A minor Dalit girl was abducted and raped by two youths at Satrod Khas village of the district yesterday. The accused — Amit and Krishan — are absconding.

The police said the 13-year-old victim claimed in her complaint that she was abducted from near her house by the two accused on September 14. They took her to a secluded place in the village and raped her. They also threatened to kill her and her family if she disclosed the matter.

The girl revealed the incident to her family after which they lodged a complaint with the police. — TNS
