CPM for early distribution of voter slips

Dehradun, January 18

A two-member delegation of the CPM today requested Chief Election Commissioner Nasim Zaidi to provide voter slips to people before the polling day in the state. Political parties shouldn’t be allowed to set up their booths near polling stations on the election day, they said. The members expressed gratitude to the Election Commission for its efforts for ensuring fair elections in the state.—TNS
