Convoy mishap: Khattar assures job to victim’s wife

Karnal, March 5

Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar paid condolence to the family of Satpal, who was killed after being hit by a vehicle in the CM’s convoy three days ago near Taraori.

The CM visited the house of the deceased at Takhana village and handed over a cheque of Rs 5 lakh to his family. He assured the family of all kind of assistance and promised a job for the victim’s wife in anganwadi as per her qualification.

The CM said the victim’s house would also be constructed and he asked Nilokehri MLA Bhagwan Dass Kabirpanthi to visit the victim’s house in future.

Health Minister Anij Vij also visited the victim’s house and assured a compensation of Rs 5 lakh.
