Mohali, January 15

“The ‘Jungle Raj’in Punjab would come to an end, if Congress is voted to power,” said Jagmohan Sing Kang, also sitting MLA from Kharar area, here.

During his election campaign, Kang targeted Akalis, alleging that their misrule in the state has upset people.

“Ten years of incumbency and the simmering anger against corruption among people indicate that the Akalis would be thrown out this time”, claim Kang.

Kang said their party would work towards implementing Ghar Ghar Rozgar yojana, ensuring a job for every house hold or Rs 2,500 pension and welfare schemes for farmers. — TNS
