Congress should apologise for Emergency: Arya

Karnal: Criticising the Congress for imposing Emergency in 1975, former MLA from Chhachhrauli Roshan Lal Arya, who was jailed during Emergency, today asked the party to apologise.

Criticising the Congress for imposing Emergency in 1975, former MLA from Chhachhrauli Roshan Lal Arya, who was jailed during Emergency, today asked the party to apologise.

Praising the state BJP government for honouring prisoners of Emergency, Arya, who once formed the Vanchit Varg Sangathan Samiti in the state, said Hooda should approach UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and ask her to apologise on the behalf of the Congress.

Charging the previous Congress government with being biased, Arya said no inclusive development was done as it remained confined to a specific region of the state.
