Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader HS Phoolka today claimed that Congress poll strategist Prashant Kishor had contacted him through a mediator.

However, Kishor denied the claim. Talking to The Tribune on the phone, he said Phoolka should give evidence or apologise. “I don’t know him. He should identify the person who allegedly got in touch with him,” said Kishor.

In a press release, Phoolka said, “When I declined to have a meeting and even refused to meet his mediator, the latter sent an SMS to me that Kishor wanted my suggestions on the issue of ‘justice to Sikhs’ for incorporating the same in the Congress manifesto.”

The AAP leader claimed that he was contacted through a London-based person who is close to him.

Phoolka didn’t rule it out as an attempt to woo him after his recent video showed his discontent over the AAP’s functioning in Punjab. “But I am committed to AAP’s principles,” he said.

Phoolka later said that being a lawyer for the 1984 riot victims, he would like to send suggestions to Kishor through the media. Kishor should advise the Congress to come clean on the Sikh genocide, he said.
