Waives Rs1 lakh fee for transfer of flats in Sec 63

The CHB has waived the additional fee of Rs 1 lakh for the transfer of flats in the Sector 63 housing scheme. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Board of Directors here today.

The decision was taken after one of the directors, Prem Kaushik, raised the issue saying that it was putting unnecessary burden on the allottees.

At its last meeting, the board has decided to levy an additional fee of Rs 1 lakh while waiving off the five-year lock-in period for the transfer of flats in the Sector 63 housing scheme.

The board has fixed a limit of Rs 9,000 for telephone bills of officers. It has also been decided that the officers will not be allowed to claim expenses for tours to other departments.

The board has not taken any decision on the citizen’s charter and the inquiry report regarding the expenses incurred on the house of the CEO.
