According to reports, five teams of CBI officials conducted raids on various places on the NIPER campus. Members of one team were seen grilling a NIPER official in the Administrative Bhawan. Another team checked various records at the Secretariat. Raids were reportedly also conducted on the houses of senior officials of the institute.

Employees, who were asked to leave their offices, were seen outside the office buildings. They were also not allowed to talk on their phones to anybody at the time of the raid.
