Cash prize for NCC cadets

SHIMLA: Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today announced Rs 10,000 each for the NCC cadets who were part of the team which participated in the Republic Day function and Rs 15,000 each to the 10 cadets from the state who were part of the Republic Day parade at Rajpath in New Delhi.

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today announced Rs 10,000 each for the NCC cadets who were part of the team which participated in the Republic Day function and Rs 15,000 each to the 10 cadets from the state who were part of the Republic Day parade at Rajpath in New Delhi.

All the 21 cadets, along with Brigadier Gyanodaya, who is also group commander of the NCC, called upon the Chief Minister. They were accompanied by other officers of the armed forces. During an interaction, Virbhadra said he was proud of all of them and wished them the very best for future. He also congratulated them for bringing laurels to the state by winning the best NCC Directorate Trophy.
