Encroachments removed

Hamirpur: Encroachments were removed from government land at Bohta nagar panchayat today. Huts of migrant labourers were removed in ward number 7. The labourers, who have been living there for over a decade, were asked to remove the encroachments on their own, but they did not do so. They had asked for a month’s time as their wards exams are going on. Sarvjit Kaur, president of the nagar panchayat, said the labourers were issued notices time and again and despite that they had failed to remove the structures.
