Chandigarh: A 35-year-old helmetless bike rider died after his motorcycle skidded near Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, in the wee hours of today.

A 35-year-old helmetless bike rider died after his motorcycle skidded near Shanti Nagar, Mani Majra, in the wee hours of today.

According to the police, the victim, Pardeep Pal, who was working as a peon in a private firm, was on the way to his residence at Indira Colony, Mani Majra. As the victim reached near the fish market at Shanti Nagar, his motorcycle skidded.

A passerby informed the police after which the victim was rushed to Government Multi Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16, where he was declared brought dead.
