Bhagwant skips panel appearance, says got public meetings in Punjab

New Delhi, November 22

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday did not appear before the panel which is probing the Parliament security breach issue, saying he had public meetings in Punjab.

The parliamentary panel has now asked him to come on November 28.

Mann, who will be AAP’s star campaigner and contestant in the 2017 Punjab elections, was asked by the committee secretariat to be present for deposition today though he has testified in person previously.
