He has effectively helped people shed kilos in his capacity as a weight loss expert, practicing in Chandigarh and Delhi for over a decade now. In order to facilitate people’s journey, further, Dr Sunny Bawa, recently announced the launch of his book Weight Loss a Rocket Science. The purpose of which, as he puts it, is to ‘demystify the subject which is worrying almost every family’, especially in the North.

Bawa shares, “I hope this book, written in a very simple and conversational style, enlightens readers with some facts about being obese, and empowers them to take good decisions to control this epidemic for better health and fitness.”

Spread over nine chapters, the book focuses on a holistic approach towards weight loss apart from offering insights into the bane and boon of dieting and gymming. To make reading interesting the writer has dug deep into his vast personal experience with patients to quote examples and explode popular myths. — TNS
