Aurbindo House lift chess trophy at BVM

Ludhiana, May 30

Aurbindo House and Swami Vivekanand House came out triumphant in the boys’ and girls’ category, respectively, in the inter-house chess competition at Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh Road.

In all, 55 students took part in this four-day event held under the supervision of Sanjeev Kumar and Geeta.

In the boys’ category, Swami Vivekanand House and Bhagat Singh House secured the second and third positions, respectively, while in the girls’ section, Aurbindo House finished as the runners-up and Lokmanaya House had to content with the third spot.

Principal Rajni Arora congratulated the winners and emphasised on the importance of sports in one’s life.
