Honour for school

Panchkula: Satluj Public School has achieved the first ranking in Panchkula for fulfilling parameters such as competence, infrastructure, performance, reputation of the school and usage of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Elets Technomedia, a comprehensive school ranking body of India, awarded Krit Serai, principal of the school, with the honour at a function help in Delhi during the School Leadership Summit-2015 recently. The school has earlier received the CBSE National Award, Panchkula Administration Awards, State Governor Awards and is considered as a top school in the State and National Rankings as well, the principal stated.

National Robotics meet

Students of Hallmark Public School here have been selected for the National Robotics meet of the First Lego League (FLL), a prestigious and challenging International Robotics competition, to be held in Delhi on Thursday and Friday. This if for the first time that two teams - Ignited Minds 21 (IM-21) and Ignited Minds 14 (IM-14) - of one school from the tricity have been selected for the nationals at a regional competition held in Mohali recently. — TNS
