Arrested SAD leader Balwinder Singh “Pinder Sarpanch” of Chak Uttar Singhwala village has been booked in another case of land grab. Local SAD ex-Municipal Councillor Daleep Singh, local resident Shampy and nearly 15 unidentified persons have been booked in the case.

Manjeet Kaur, a resident of Kotkapura Road, complained to the police that Pinder Sarpanch, Daleep Singh, Shampy and 10-15 more armed persons attempted to forcibly take possession of her house on June 12.

“When I raised an alarm, some people gathered outside my house. The accused then ran away, threatening me with dire consequences if I informed the matter to the police,” she said.
