Former MP Jagmeet Singh Brar today demanded the arrest of Cabinet ministers Adaish Partap Singh Kairon and Parminder Singh Dhindsa for the “mother of all scams”.
Referring to the Punjab Government’s decision to raise a debt of Rs 31,000 crore to settle the cash credit limit (CCL) legacy account with banks and other financial institutions, he said, “First the Akalis denied the (foodgrain) scam, then they tried to confuse the people by claiming that the Centre owed them money and blamed the FCI. Now, they are shamelessly converting this theft into a loan.”
