BATHINDA: Irked over the “slow pace” of the police department in conducting probe into the bomb blast at Maur on January 31, residents of Maur Mandi today announced that they would stage a protest on February 26.

Irked over the “slow pace” of the police department in conducting probe into the bomb blast at Maur on January 31, residents of Maur Mandi today announced that they would stage a protest on February 26. The announcement was made after a meeting convened by the Bomb Kaand Sangharsh Committee.

The committee members alleged that a few days ago, the administration officials had reached Maur Mandi and assured the residents that thorough investigation would be conducted and demands of the committee would also be heeded, but nothing had been done till now. — TNS
