This humble man from Raikot, Ludhiana, doesn’t have any fancy dreams, he wants to sing and write, write and sing...only the best. Catch this sweet voiced singer who weaves magic with his words.

I wasn’t much interested in writing. I always wanted to sing, but as it was meant to be, I started out in the industry with Roshan Prince’s track Thumka in 2009. I have written many super hit songs, including Laden sung by Jassi Gill, 10 Mint sung by Sippy Gill, Diary sung by Amrinder Gill and many more songs.

A writer-singer or a singer-writer

As I said, I love to sing. But I was introduced first as a writer. As a habit whenever I would write a song for a singer, I would sing it myself and show it to them. Everyone said I had a good voice, and I should go for it. This is how I became a singer. Now, it is double work for me, as a singer and writer both.

I would be running a garment store.

Your kinda style

I have written all kinds of songs, which are romantic and peppy like Veham (Roshan Prince) and also like Bapu Zamidar (Jassi Gill), but I personally like romantic tracks which I have done for the Punjabi film Anjrej.

Sing a song

I have a dream. I would like to see singer-music director Sukhwinder Singh singing the song written by me.

I never thought I would be this successful, I was confident however that if I do good work it will strike a chord with the audience.

I am not into it right now. However, Roshan Prince and I are coming together with a track.

He inspires me

I always feel good meeting and listening to Amrinder Gill. He sings romantic tracks with great lyrics, something that inspires me.

Support called family

My family has always supported me, they just told me to put my heart and soul into whatever I was doing.

Dreams if any

I don’t dream of big cars, houses...they do come eventually. I want only to be known as a successful singer and lyricist. I just dream of becoming popular with my work.

Oh yes, I am getting a lot of offers to act in Punjabi films which I would be doing next year.
