Rakesh Gupta, Additional Principal Secretary (APS) to CM, has ordered disciplinary action against Geetanjali Mor, District Excise and Taxation Commissioner (DETC), Nuh, for ignoring complaints received at the CM Window.

The orders were issued today at a meeting to review the CM window complaints. Speaking to The Tribune, Rakesh Gupta, said, “Geetanjali Mor failed to take action on at least ten complaints.”

He said as many as 56 officers had been suspended across the state for ignoring complaints. Gupta also directed the deputy commissioners (DCs) of all six districts to ensure redressal of pending complaints at the earliest.

The APS asked the officers to inform the CM Cell about complaints which could not be redressed due to technical problems.

Expressing concern over skewed gender ratio, Gupta asked health officials to take stern action against ultrasound centres and nursing homes found performing pre-natal sex determination tests.

He directed the DCs to prepare a detailed list of government officials who turned hostile during court hearings on PNDT cases. He said such officials would be chargesheeted.
