The ABVP won three seats while NSUI candidates won two seats. The Jaunpur group that was in alliance with the ABVP won the general secretary seat.

The polling started early in the morning and voters, especially first year students, showed keen interest in the elections. They were seen queuing up at the polling station at the college. ABVP candidate Ashish Joshi was elected president and he won by a margin of only nine votes. Ashish received 212 votes while his rival from the NSUI Mohan Melwan received 203 votes.

The two rebel candidates from the ABVP, namely Sameer Panwar and Neeraj, also contested for the post president but received 50 votes and 89 votes, respectively. Ashish Kothari from the ABVP was elected vice-president defeating his nearest rival Naveen Singh from the NSUI by a margin of 52 votes. Ashish Kothari mustered 322 votes while Naveen (NSUI) secured 270 votes.

Rahul Singh, ABVP alliance partner from the Jaunpur group, was elected general secretary. He defeated his nearest rival from the NSUI Neeraj by 15 votes. Neeraj received 192 votes while Rahul Singh secured 207 votes. Sohan Singh Ramola from the Aryan group received 155 votes and stood third. Pooja Rawat (NSUI) was elected joint secretary. She defeated Anuradha Naithani from the ABVP by 37 votes, while Meenu Naithani from the Aryan group stood third.

Pooja Rawat received 275 votes, Anuradha 138 and Meenu secured 138 votes. ABVP candidate Aarti Rawat was elected treasurer. She won by a slender margin of four votes. She received 309 votes while Vinita Panwar from the NSUI secured 305 votes. Neeraj Rana (NSUI) defeated Raman Singh (ABVP) by 134 votes on the post of university representative. Around 779 votes were cast while six votes were declared invalid. The school principal declared the winners and gave away them certificates. The NSUI had pinned its hopes on factionalism in the ABVP camp that was divided in three groups but it failed to take advantage of the situation as the ABVP had done better poll arithmetic and pre-poll alliance.
