Abandoned girl handed over to Bal Kalyan Samiti

DEHRADUN: An abandoned baby girl, who was admitted to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital five months ago, has recovered, said hospital authorities today.

An abandoned baby girl, who was admitted to Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital five months ago, has recovered, said hospital authorities today. ASP Lokeshwar Singh handed the girl over to Bhatt, a member of the Bal Kalyan Samiti.

The police had found the girl in bushes in Dehradun and brought her to the hospital for treatment. The hospital’s management shouldered the responsibility of her treatment. Hospital’s medical superintendent Dr Vinay Rai said the staff was happy at the recovery of the girl and hope someone would adopt her soon.
