Irrfan Khan, who has carved a niche for himself in both domestic and international film industry, is considered as one of the most sought after actors. While the Indian film industry is highly appreciative of his work, his performance in Hollywood is also critically acclaimed. The actor is completing a decade in Hollywood this year. He will be seen yet again in an international movie Inferno in 2016.

Let’s have a look at the versatile roles the actor has played in Hollywood so far...

The Warrior (2006)

Irrfan made his international debut with the movie Warrior and since then there has been no looking back. He is one of the first Indian actors who broke the stereotype and believed in ‘concept is king’ theory.

A Mighty Heart (2007)

From a Warrior to a detective. Irrfan played the role of Zeeshan Kazi, police chief in A Mighty Heart, which was based on Mariane Pearl’s account of the terrifying and unforgettable true story.

New York, I love You (2008)

Irrfan dons the role of a simple, middle class diamond merchant in this movie. Even without much dialogues, his presence in scenes was strongly felt.

Hisss (2010)

The film that was much in news because of the snake look of the lead actress, had Irrfan in an pivotal role. He played Inspector Vikram Gupta who was institutional in solving the complex case.

The Amazing Spiderman (2012)

Irrfan played the bad man, Dr Rajit Ratha in The Amazing Spiderman.

Life of Pi (2012)

The actor although came in a small role in Life of Pi but managed to grab attention with his screen presence and narration.

Jurassic World (2015)

A billionaire and the owner of amusement park, Irrfan played a rich and royal businessman in the film.
