5 held for theft , trespassing

The CIA-1 of the Panchkula police arrested five persons in connection with two cases of theft and trespassing. Two cases of theft, trespassing and criminal conspiracy were registered at the Pinjore police station on February 7.

According to the police, 11 cellphones and other electronic items were recovered from the accused. The accused used to carry out thefts in Chandigarh as well.

The accused — Pravesh, Sunny, Karan, Abhinandan and Bimlesh — were  living at Kaimbwala village in Chandigarh. They were arrested from the Mansa Devi Complex yesterday, said Inspector Narendra Kadiyan of CIA-1.  — TNS
