40-year-old salesman’s body found from car in Chandigarh’s Sector 17

Chandigarh, June 13

The body of a 40-year-old man was found in his car at the parking in Sector 17 here on Monday morning. 

The victim has been identified as Munish Chopra, a resident of Sector 15, who worked as a salesman at a showroom in Sector 17.

The body lying on the rear seat of the car was found by a salesman of the showroom.

Sector 17 Station House Officer Inspector Uday Pal said the victim had arrived at the showroom on Sunday in an inebriated condition and was asked to leave.

The police said the victim, however, didn’t reach home. The body did not have injury marks, while blood was oozing from its nose. The salesman’s mobile phone was found in the car.

The body has been shifted to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector 16. The police have ruled out murder.
