3 tourists killed in U’khand mishap

DEHRADUN:Three tourists were killed when a car collided with a tree in the Bajpur area of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand. The incident happened on the Barhani-Kaladungi road of Bajpur. The tourists, who had come on a visit to Kumaon were on way to Nainital from Bajpur when near Gadpu, some stray animals came in front of their vehicle.

Three tourists were killed when a car collided with a tree in the Bajpur area of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand.

The incident happened on the Barhani-Kaladungi road of Bajpur. The tourists, who had come on a visit to Kumaon were on way to Nainital from Bajpur when near Gadpu, some stray animals came in front of their vehicle. The driver lost control of the vehicle and the car collided with a tree.

While the driver Julfikar was injured, the three inmates died on the spot. The victims were identified as Anoop Nair from Kerala, Veerpal from West Bengal and Bimal, resident of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
