A Parwanoo police team recovered 9,810 gm of poppy husk from the occupants of an Eon car (HR-49-D-0669), which was coming from Manimajra, at the Timber Trail barrier near Parwanoo this evening.

Giving information, the Parwanoo DSP said the occupants of the car Sunil Kumar, Munish Kumar and Kushal Chand had been arrested. They were all residents of Solan who drive auto rickshaws, he said. A case under Section 15 of the NDPS Act has been registered against them and further investigation is underway. The contraband had been bought from Manimajra. — TNS
