2 snatchings in city

Two snatching incidents were reported from the city today.

Two motorcycle-borne miscreants sped away after snatching a purse from a woman in Sector 23. Sources said the victim, Priyanka, a resident of Sector 23, complained that her purse was snatched by the miscrents near the Yoga Centre in Sector 23. The purse contained Rs 300, a debit card and documents, including an Aadhaar card, a bank pass book and a driving licence. An investigation has been initiated at the Sector 17 police station. In another incident, two minor boys fled after snatching Rs 200 from a minor near Kalagram today. Police sources said the victim was walking when the boys, who were also on foot, snatched the money from him.—TNS
