2 more test positive for swine flu

Two new cases of swine flu have been reported at city government hospitals. While a 39-year-old patient from Sector 19 was admitted to the PGI, another patient, aged 47, was admitted to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector 16, yesterday. The reports of both patients were received today. However, the patient who was admitted to the GMSH left without medical advice today.

The total number of cases reported in the winter season so far has reached five, including these two new cases. A 35-year-old resident of Khuda Lahora had died about 10 days ago after contracting the H1N1 virus.

Earlier, a doctor from the Department of Internal Medicine, PGI, and a 20-year-old woman from Sector 40 had tested positive for swine flu.
